The Balance Beam

There is a time for everything under the sun, the tricky question is how do you balance it all? For a while now I have been contemplating and thinking of a way to express myself, my thoughts, insights, and experiences. Today finally I have festered up enough confidence to start a blog. The hope for this blog is to encourage others to be inspired and find faith through the Lord our God. There is a verse I'd like to share with you today. It comes from the book of Ecclesiastes.

 Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8 (ESV)

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

Life always has a balancing act. Whether it's balancing family, work, a ministry, marriage, self-care, and so much more. I wanted to write and start conversations about how all of these things are possible when we put God first. Many of us have a lot on our shoulders. So many people in the world are counting on the wrong things to get them through life. I have good news! We don't have to do it alone; in fact we weren't meant to do it alone.

This very first blog post is going to be short and sweet, but I'm here to encourage you to keep on up on the balance beam of life.
